This book really doesn’t need an introduction to many; it’s a masterpiece, of the Tao (the way), the way of being. It was written in 600bc by a Chinese sage Lao-tzu. This epic book’s teachings, one by one, are studies in itself. Rich, deep and immensely rewarding. I have read it over and over, and as I grow, the wisdom forever comes into focus.  Buy here

Written by Eckhart Tolle, this was his first book, based on the principle of the eternal “present moment”. His insights takes you deep into understanding the illusion of the past and future and the importance of living in the “NOW” of life. Buy here

I loved Eckhart’s first book, and his CD’s, so much I bought his next book, A New Earth. I found this book to be very soul healing in understanding why I had deep scars and needed healing, yet, i’ts truly inspirational to lift you to your highest potential. This book is one of my all-time favourites to recommend to anyone. Buy here

Another well-listened to CD of mine, one of my all-time favourites. I found this years ago and perhaps have listened to it 7-10 times, and each time I get a deeper understanding of Eckhart Tolle’s teachings. Not all teachings are clear at first because you aren’t ready for the message, this is one of those teachings that deliver again and again. Buy here

I have read this book at least 9-10 times. This amazing book is about the incredible life and teachings of Yogananda, his Guru Sri Yukashwar, and the lineage of gurus and teachings above them. It’s fascinating, entertaining and deeply spiritually awakening. I love this book, it inspires me, and gives me hope knowing we all can reach our highest level of awakening and true joy. I heard of this book through another author, who had his first understanding of the concept of the “witness” that lives within all of us. This book explains the Mind in the traditional Zen Buddhist teachings. Buy here

This was a more recent read, and it’s epic. It’s about just that- letting-go. Letting go of our old patterns of holding on to emotions created from situations and circumstances that keep us from moving forward and becoming enlightened beings. We all have the potential to become high-vibrational beings free from suffering caused by clinging to the past. Buy here

said to be written in 800bc,  it’s an epic legend of good and evil that resides in each of us, a story of the conflict of Arjuna the warrior,  and his confiding with his charioteer Krishna (God) over his conflict of fighting. This book is studied and directed line-by-line opening a depth of meaning, knowledge and wisdom. It is by far one of the most classic books ever written. Buy here

A true story written by a hippie who in the late 60’s just wanted to fade into the background and disconnect from everyone and everything after he read the book The Three Pillars of Zen and learning how to meditate. The book and his meditations led him to just let the universe carry him by simply not saying “NO”.  He goes from rags to riches through his spiritual journey and becomes purely happy and astounded of how his life unfolds in harmony. It’s a beautiful story and is full of wisdom and inspiration. Buy here

Amazing book, forward by Oprah, it’s in its 25th year of print, and universally timeless in its wisdom into our very should and connection to the divine universe, the energy that gives us life and everything we want to manifest in life. After reading this book, I felt at peace with the understanding of our journey into the soul and how we transform and transcend and rebirth. Buy here

Written by David Deida, this book transforms the notion of what the physical, emotional and spiritual relationships can be between partners and in finding freedom and fullness in sexual union. Another epic book by Tantra master D. Daida. This book explores the polarity of the masculine and feminine in all of us, and the balance between sexual and intimate partners. He explains how we can manoeuvre through the seemingly complicated wants and desires of men and women to breaking it down in real terms how truly magical the dance can be once a man masters his power. Emperor of Rome, this book was his daily dairy written over 2000 years ago of magnificent wisdom, thoughts, strategy and fortitude that still resonates today and is thoroughly thought-provoking. He questions, and answers his life as he oversees the massive responsibility of leading his people in ancient times of conflict and war finding a deeper meaning to all that exists. Buy here.
