This picture was taken at Wat Pah Nanachat Monastery in Thailand. The monk shaving my head I called “Elvis”, he used to be a punk musician that felt the calling to answer the question- who am I? . Living in the monastery was one of the highlights of my life. To stay at the monastery one must let-go of all identity and physical attachments, like not wearing any jewelry and shaving your head, eyebrows and beard.
This is my journey and I am sharing what would be considered a colourful and challenging life. As a result of falling down and getting up so many times, I have learned a lot of painful lessons but also gained many truths, insights and wisdom that I am now sharing with others to help guide them through their personal journey and on their own path to awakening.
I am a student of self-discovery, meditation and mindfulness.
I began to study the science of the Yogic way of life – Hinduism, Buddhism, Tantra and Quantum Physics which led me to spend time in various Ashrams and Monasteries travelling across North America, India, Nepal, Thailand and Bali.
I continued learning at the University of Toronto’s Mindfulness Studies Program, as well as taking various courses at the Omega Institute in New York State and going to South America for retreats on Breath-work, Meditation and Yoga. I also began to practice Vipassana and Transcendental Meditation.
My fascination with higher state of consciousness continued journey and led me to the ancient psychedelic plant medicine of the Amazon, Ayahuasca. There in South America I had profound experiences and insights that gave me intense clarity on my suffering, and sense of purpose to help others move from the past trauma into a new states of being.
I further continued to experiment with Psilocybin and 5MeoDMT, and now understood our unlimited and eternal nature that goes beyond the five-senses and our physical being. In other words, I have no fear of death because it doesn’t exist, other than the death of the ego. We all leave behind our meat-suit and go back home. This “home” is what we all long for, its that tugging in our heart that we are so divinely connected to- its the life-force, the astral plane of the ultimate, the One-consciousness, God.
We are capable of an anything, and can become everything here on earth, we just have to let go of our sh#t 🙂
I live in Collingwood ON Canada.
